Well, we found out that there are over 4000 breweries in Europe and that there are estimated 40,000 beer brands in the EU.


Did you know the oldest taste-able beer ever found was on a boat?

A 19th century shipwreck near Finland carried the oldest drinkable beer in the world which has found to taste very old, with some burnt notes and an acidic aftertaste.


Beer is the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage and is the third-most popular drink overall, after water and tea.
It is thought by some to be the oldest fermented beverage.


The glass shape affects how much your hands warm up your beer, and the flavour of beer is affected by its temperature.

A thick glass, or one with a handle, protects your beer from the heat of your hands and keeps it cooler. Beers that taste better closer to room temperature prefer a chalice glass that the drinker can cup.


We found out that in USA there is a man who have over 25.000 individual beer bottles. Ron Werner started to collect his beer bottles at the age of 14 and he collect over 1.000 bottles per year.


The Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan
Almost a thousand years ago the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan was the monastery brewery of the Benedictine monks. Then, the Royal Bavarian State Brewery, it is now operating as a state directed enterprise under the control of the Bavarian Government. As the oldest still existing brewery in the world it stands upon the Weihenstephan hill, surrounded by the comparatively very young Weihenstephan science center of the Technical University of Munich. And so, a unique tradition and brewing culture developed over the centuries.
